I’ve been a part of the HBOG group for a little over a year now, and I feel as if I truly belong to a real family. We know each other’s buttons and signs of distress, we can poke fun at each other and know when to offer extra help, and most of all we aren’t afraid to talk out any problems we have with each other. It’s the understanding, communication, and comfortability we have that allows us to function so cohesively together.
I graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2019 with a degree in Philosophy. I’ve wanted to work in the legal field since attending Homewood-Flossmoor High School and attended NIU for the purpose of attending their law school. I’ve been without a doubt influenced by my mother and father, a lawyer and supervisor at the Public Defender’s Office respectively, as well as a handful of other close family friends in the field of law.
My work with the law group has been a truly fortunate learning experience. I’ve learned quickly the many changing procedures both online and in person, along with how to weave through the intricate processes of filing documents during the pandemic. It has been a period of challenge and growth that has just further cemented my goal to become a member of the legal profession.
I continue to treasure every day I can make a difference and help people achieve their goals. I’m always looking forward to the next client to call in for representation. I look forward to the bright future I see with HBOG and anticipate our success to be a needed pillar to both the public community and the legal community alike. I hope to be a worthwhile and longtime member of the law group and cannot wait for the day I can help people as more than just a paralegal, but as a partner in the firm.
